It is a standardized electronic test that was created to assess the extent to which students possess the skills and concepts of the specific academic subjects at the beginning of the school year for grades four, six, eight and ten.
The AMSAT sequential test is one of the most important tests that measure students’ achievement levels over a number of academic years, to ensure that the minimum level of knowledge is available to qualify the student to receive new knowledge, as well as his readiness to acquire more knowledge at a deeper intellectual level.

These tests are also provided to decision-makers in the fields of education and other entities responsible for counting the rate of development and progress in different fields; to provide them with information about the percentages of the average performance of students in the fourth, sixth, eighth and tenth grades, by collecting data about them through EMSAT test evaluations.

Test materials
The test materials are represented in the sequential exams that students study over the successive years, so that the exam includes:
The tests for these subjects are available in both Arabic and English, so that all schools can choose the test language that suits their students.
The test can be booked in advance through the website of the UAE Ministry of Education . The location and time of the test are determined in advance, and range between 7 am and 4 pm.

English Sequential Test
It is an electronic test that aims to measure students’ abilities and skills in the English language . This test was built and divided based on international standards for English language assessment.
The test duration is 50 minutes.
The number of questions in the test is (90), and the questions vary between:
- Multiple choice.
- Fill in the blanks.
- Rearrange the words.
- Connecting words and sentences.
- Writing.
The test aims to measure the three main skills (reading - grammar - vocabulary), with the aim of verifying that students possess the minimum of these skills. The main skills in each section of the exam are as follows:
- Reading:
English reading skills tests include identifying the main idea of the paragraph being read, simple factual details, finding the meaning of an unfamiliar word, inferring through understanding the content of the paragraph, understanding events and knowing their sequence and order.
- Grammar:
This skill is measured by the student's ability to choose the correct word or words to complete the sentence, knowing that the spelling content in the English language depends mainly on grammar , and the multiple levels of grammar are distributed over the questions in the test.
- Vocabulary:

Emsat Sequential Test in Mathematics
It is an electronic test that aims to measure students’ abilities and skills in the subject of mathematics . This test was built and divided based on international standards for evaluating students’ skills in mathematics.
The test duration is 50 minutes.
The number of questions in the test ranges between (40 - 50) questions, depending on the targeted grade, and the questions vary between:
- Multiple choice.
- Fill in the blanks.
- Select more than one option.

The test aims to measure students’ skills and evaluate their levels of proficiency in mathematics, through their progress in the grades from fourth to tenth grade.
