Emirates Standardized Testing Policies and Regulations:

1- Registration Policy

For Emirati students, to be accepted into government universities, it is not enough to obtain the EMSAT exams, but they must be registered in the national examination system in addition to registering in the NAPO system. As for non-Emirati students, they are satisfied with obtaining the Emirates Standardized Tests.

2- Registration change policy

The student can change the date of his test if he wants, knowing that registration for the test will end two weeks before the scheduled date of the test, and therefore the student will not be able to change the date or even cancel the application to take the test; therefore, it will be mandatory to attend the test and if he does not attend, he will be recorded as absent.

** The student can apply for the test on any day and at any time he wants and choose the place that suits him as long as the opportunity is available according to the available time periods and vacant seats. The student bears full responsibility for the place and time he has chosen, as there are many places in the Emirates that you can choose from among what suits you.

3- Delay policy

The student is allowed to enter the examination hall if he is late in the first 15 minutes of the examination period, but after this period he is prevented from entering the hall and is recorded as absent.

4- Required Documents Policy

The student must make sure to bring a copy of the test ticket and the original Emirates ID. In the absence of these requirements, the student will not be allowed to enter the test hall and will be recorded as absent.

5- Absence Policy

If the student is absent from the exam for a reason other than exceptional cases (illness, family emergency, etc.), he will not be allowed to register for the exam again. The student who is absent for exceptional cases must submit a request to retake the exam to the National and International Examinations Department to explain the reason for the absence in detail. If the reason for the absence is illness, a medical report or a medical certificate proving the condition must be provided, issued by a government hospital and certified by the Ministry of Health and Community Protection or the Health Authority. These papers will then be reviewed and if approved, the student will be notified of the new exam date.

6- Cheating Policy

The penalty for cheating or even attempting to cheat is that the test score will not be counted and the student will not be able to register for or take any other tests in the current academic year. Consequently, the EmSAT standardized test score will not be counted permanently in the student’s NAPO record.

7- Test Result Policy

After a few weeks from the time of submitting the test, the result will appear on the student's page. Please note that the results of all AMSAT tests are valid for 18 months from the date of taking the test.
