Learn how to register for the AMSAT exam in 2023

The EMSAT exam is essential if you want to complete your education in the Emirates. It is very common, but despite that, many people are ignorant of the important conditions and procedures for this exam.

Therefore, the EMSAT certificate or EMSAT exam is known to be difficult and complex, so in this article we will highlight the things that are necessary to know about this exam .

What is the evening?

The Emirates Standardized Tests ( ESTs ) are a set of tests equivalent to aptitude tests that measure students’ level and readiness to move to advanced educational levels.

This exam measures the students' level of understanding of the basic concepts that must be understood before entering the next educational stage, in addition to whether they are sufficiently qualified to advance and acquire the necessary skills.

This exam not only measures the students’ eligibility to move from one educational stage to the next, but also measures the students’ response to the educational systems in place and their efficiency with students at their various educational stages and specializations.

Where educational systems are evaluated according to the students’ achievement rate, to develop and improve the methods used, in addition to building an educational system that aims to serve students and support them to succeed in the desired specialization.

Students are assessed to identify the most important key points to benefit from in building individual support plans aimed at improving the student’s performance and helping him gain a deeper understanding of the information provided to him.

This exam is not concerned with a specific academic stage, specialization, or subject, but rather this exam is conducted at various educational stages, and in most specializations.

This exam is divided into three sections:

1. Basic AMSAT Exam

This stage is for students who will be entering the first grade, which means that it measures the child’s skills acquired in kindergarten.

At this stage, children's skills in reading, writing and arithmetic are measured.

2. AMSAT Sequential Exam

This stage is for students in the fourth, sixth, eighth and tenth grades.

The subjects in which the test is conducted are: Arabic, English, Mathematics, and Science.

3. AMSAT Achievement Exam

At this stage, the performance of students in the twelfth grade is measured to apply to universities. This stage is called the university entrance exam, and it is equivalent to the aptitude tests for university admission.

The test is conducted in the following subjects: Arabic, English, Mathematics , Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science.

Of course, requirements differ from one college to another, so students’ achievement is measured on the basis of the desired specialization and the college to which they are applying.

How to register for the EMSAT exam?

The EMSAT exam is an electronic exam, so all procedures are done electronically. This is what is applied to the stages of registration for the exam, as it is necessary to register electronically on the official website of the Ministry of Education for the EMSAT exam.

There are some steps you need to follow to register; you can also contact a coordinator to help you with these steps:

1. I am searching for registration for the AMSAT exam on Google, and the page is affiliated with the Ministry of Education website for the exam platform.
2. After entering the site, you can choose to convert the page between Arabic and English.
3. After scrolling down you can see the button Click here to register.
4. After this step, you will be asked whether you have an account on the exam platform or not.
5. If you do not have an account, you will be asked for your Emirates ID number.
6. Then an identification number will be sent to your phone number; or if you have chosen another method.
7. You will then be taken to the registration page.

In it you have to put some data:

1. First, put the email, whether personal or private, for the exam only.
2. Then set a password (that contains all the conditions mentioned in front of it) and write it again.
3. Then you choose the stage or exam classification, whether it is achievement or achievement12.
4. Then choose the state and emirate in which you reside.
5. Then you choose the institution or college.
6. Then upload a profile picture from your device.
7. After finishing, click on register.
8. A confirmation message will be sent to the account you have set up.
9. Then you will be directed to your email, where you will find a message from the Ministry of Education website. Click on the link in it.
10. Which in turn will take you to the Ministry page and you will find the account confirmation button, click on it.
11. You will log in to your account, and you will see a message stating that your request is being processed.

You will have to wait a day or two until you receive a message that the account has been activated.

These were the steps to register an account on the Ministry’s website for the AMSAT exam platform. After this stage, we will have to register for the exam:

1. Log in to the Ministry of Education website for the EMSAT exam platform.
2. This time you will choose that you have an AMSAT account.
3. You will put the email you registered with and the password and log in.
4. You will find your previous data for the exams you have taken since the last time.
5. You will find a button to retake the exam.
6. You will choose the date and place that suits you.
7. The next step will be to pay the exam fee; you will find several payment methods from which you can choose the one that suits you and confirm the data.
8. After confirming the payment, you will receive a message with all the information about the exam date and location.

When does registration for the AMSAT exam open?

The Ministry of Education announced that registration for the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) for the year 2022-2023 will be opened for graduates of previous years, twelfth grade students, achievement category, with a total of 16 sessions. The first was held on October 29 and the last will be on July 2, 2023.

Each session has 4 different times per day; starting at 8 am, then 11 am, 2 pm, and until 5 pm.

It started last October and the remaining session dates are as follows: February 12 and 19, March 5 and 26, May 7 and 21, June 4 and 18, and finally July 22, 2023.

What is the passing score for the AMSAT exam?

The Ministry of Education stated that there is no fixed indicator of success or failure in the AMSAT exam, but there are some conditions that must be taken into account:

First: The student’s average score must not be less than 80% to be able to join most colleges, except in the case of medicine or the College of Science, which requires that the overall average must not be less than 90%.

Second: The student must obtain a score of 1250 in the English language or its equivalent in TOEFL and IELTS, but these certificates and their original accreditation must be subject to.

Third: Conducting an equivalency in the event of undergoing a foreign education that is not subject to the UAE government education.

This is considered the minimum for admission to most universities. However, when taking the exam, you must be aware of the college you wish to join and its requirements, because the required course completion rate varies from one college to another and from one specialization to another.
