Preparation for the 2026 TOEFL iBT format
We cover the updated TOEFL format. The current test includes reading of everyday and academic texts, and listening to conversations, announcements and academic talks. Since 21 January 2026, score reports use a scale from 1 to 6 in half-point steps, with a comparable total on the 0 to 120 scale during the transition period.
