Preliminary admission requirements

• The student's percentage in high school should not be less than 80%

• Obtaining a high school certificate according to the educational system as shown: ( Advanced track with a general average of no less than 80% - General track with an average of no less than 95%, with a score of no less than 90% in mathematics and science, in addition to passing the national tests ( EMSAT ) in all of the following subjects: mathematics with a score of 875 , physics with a score of 600 , Arabic with a score of 900 , and English with a score of 1100 or its equivalent certified by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates)

University of Sharjah
Admission requirements for bachelor's and diploma programs

All applicants must meet the following basic admission requirements:

• The date of obtaining the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent must not have been more than three years ago when the student applies to the university for all programs except the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, where it is required that the date of obtaining the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent must not have been more than one year ago when submitting the application to the university.
• The student must not have been previously dismissed from the University of Sharjah or another university, community college or higher institute for disciplinary or academic reasons.
• The student must be physically, mentally and mentally fit to join the university according to the desired specialization.
• The applicant specifies in the application for admission to the colleges in order of priority his desire to enroll in each of them.
• Accepted students are distributed to the university’s colleges within the limits of the numbers decided to be accepted in each college according to the capacity of each program, according to the priorities of their desires and the sequence of their grades. Requirements for admission to engineering technology programs:

• Obtaining a secondary school average of at least 80%.
• Obtain a minimum score of 800 on the EMSAT Math test.
• Obtain a minimum score of 750 on the EMSAT Physics test or a minimum score of 600 on the EMSAT Chemistry test.
• Obtain a minimum score of 850 on the EMSAT English test or equivalent.

3. A female citizen student will be accepted into the Foundation Stage Program for six months (two semesters) if she obtains an IELTS score of 4.5 or an AMSAT English score of 900.
