The EmSAT Standard Test (Injaz) is an electronic test that was developed based on international standards and criteria for twelfth grade students in secondary school, as well as for some other categories.

There are steps that must be followed to develop a test for any of the subjects in which the students’ level is intended to be measured, and they are:
- Determine the general description of the test.
- Determine the standards and objectives that the test seeks to achieve or measure in the male or female student.
- Determine the axes of the test domain.
- Determine the type of questions the test contains between (multiple choice - drag and drop - writing a persuasive essay).

The standards and criteria upon which male and female students are accepted by Emirati universities vary, as the university chooses male and female students to classify them according to one of the following two categories:
- Emirati male and female students.
- International students.
Emirati students apply on the website of the UAE Ministry of Education , as well as children of Emirati women and male and female high school students from previous years.

University admission requirements for students in the EmiratesThere are several requirements and conditions that must be met by students transferring to higher education and the university stage, and the failure to meet them will result in the rejection of their application for admission until those conditions are met. These are:
- Students must have successfully passed the twelfth grade and obtained a certificate accredited by the United Arab Emirates, or its equivalent. Students must also submit certificates within the specified time, within a maximum of three years from the time of issuance.
- Students must successfully pass the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) in Arabic or its equivalent, so that the student obtains a score that qualifies him for university admission with a minimum of 900. As for specializations related to the study of the Arabic language, the student seeking to join them must have obtained a minimum score of 1100 on the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) or its equivalent in Arabic.
- Students must successfully pass the Emirates Standardized Test (EMSAT) in English with a minimum score of 1250, or its equivalent in IELTS with a minimum score of 5.5, or TOEFL with a minimum score of 525, or IBT with a score of 70.
- Students must pass all the tests they took for university admission.
- Applicants to the university stage must not have been subjected to any previous dismissal procedures by educational institutions, for disciplinary, administrative or educational reasons.
- Students of private schools that do not follow the UAE government curriculum and who have passed the twelfth grade, as well as those who have obtained a high school certificate from outside the UAE, must bring the equivalent of a government certificate from the UAE to be accepted into the university stage.
- The university grants some male and female students additional hours according to the university’s interactive educational programs, based on the student’s achievement rate and results during his studies in secondary school in the twelfth grade, in internationally recognized systems such as:
General Certificate of Education (GCE).
Advanced Placement (AP).
International Baccalaureate (IB).
And other programs recognized by the university.
- A student reaching the minimum acceptance level at a university does not guarantee that he or she has actually received acceptance, but students are admitted to the university conditionally, as applicants are approved based on competitiveness in the academic degree and previous results, according to the specified number and capacity of the college to which the student has applied.
- If a holder of a previous bachelor’s degree wants to apply to join a new college, he must first submit a certificate of passing the twelfth grade in high school, as well as submit his previous papers and a record of his academic grades in the first bachelor’s degree, issued by a recognized body, with a cumulative average of no less than 2.5, and sent by mail to the university admissions office.
- It is necessary for students applying to the college to which they have been assigned to fulfill the conditions set out above. If the conditions are not fulfilled within one academic semester, they will be transferred by the university to one of the colleges that suits their academic qualifications, in addition to the availability of a place for them in the college to which they have been transferred.
