Emsat Test Sections

For example, if we look at the sections of the EmSAT English test for the twelfth grade, we will notice that the test is divided into several main sections, on the basis of which the educational standards and objectives are built, and then the questions that achieve those standards and objectives are set.
The EmSAT English exam for the twelfth grade is divided into several sections, which are:
Section One: Rules
It is the first section of the EmSAT test, which aims to measure students’ ability to know correct grammar rules . It consists of multiple-choice questions, and aims to evaluate the student’s choice of the correct word.
Section Two: Vocabulary
This section is concerned with assessing students’ knowledge of the most common English vocabulary in higher education institutions that teach in English, and aims to measure their ability to understand words within a written context.

- Explain the meanings of unusual or unfamiliar vocabulary to students.
- Coherence and harmony of the paragraphs of the text.
- Pronouns.
Section Six: Writing
It is the last section of the EmSAT test, and the student’s ability to use the writing skill linguistically correctly is measured by writing a text with a number of words ranging between (200 - 250) words. The student’s performance is evaluated by two correctors who evaluate the written text using fixed standards for writing skills.
