The UAE Ministry of Education also took the initiative to periodically address all the consequences, which contributed, in a faster way, to the emergence of an unprecedented development in the educational process. Most of the gaps that the UAE government faced in the early stages of implementing the (Emsat) exam were also closed. Among the most important of these initiatives and amendments are:

  • Holding training courses for teachers to learn more about the criteria and standards of the Emsat exams, how grades are calculated and distributed, and how to properly evaluate each student.
  • A number of previous EMSAT exam models have been posted on the website of the UAE Ministry of Education, so that students can get used to the exam format and thus gain confidence by repeatedly practicing solving models similar to the original exam.
  • Increasing the number of centres prepared to conduct EmSAT exams and equipping them with everything the student and supervisor need inside the committees; to make it easier for students to attend the exam without travelling from one emirate to another.
  • Equipping all centers with medical supplies, such as: masks, disinfectants, and first aid kits, as a measure taken to confront the problems of the spread of the Corona virus, and as one of the ways to prevent it and limit its spread.
  • Using technology within the educational process, represented by (computers - artificial intelligence programs).
  • Use of surveillance cameras inside examination halls.
  • Medical examination of students using thermal cameras to ensure their safety and the safety of their colleagues inside the committee. Temperatures are measured before any student enters, and anyone whose temperature rises above the maximum limit previously set for him is excluded.
  • Providing examination centers with medical teams for immediate first aid if any student, supervisor, or administrator is exposed to any health problem.
  • The UAE Ministry of Education has designated a website for electronic registration for the EmSAT exam.
  • Organizing the exam registration process, specifying all items, and entering data through the Internet to facilitate procedures for students and families without any hassle.
  • The UAE Ministry of Education addresses the problem of some students’ absence from the EmSAT exam by providing an acceptable excuse, explaining the reason for the absence, and attaching a certificate from a government agency proving the truthfulness of the absentee’s acceptable excuse, such as the UAE Ministry of Health. Then, the request is submitted, and a decision is issued, followed by setting a new date for the new EmSAT exam for the absent student.

Therefore, the importance of the EmSAT exam in the UAE is greater than being a modern educational system. Rather, it can be considered an initial step towards building a brighter future, which confirms the efforts and endeavors made by the United Arab Emirates to advance education and establish a prosperous future for a prestigious country. There are still many ideas and plans that have not yet been implemented.
